Breakfast ideas | Summer

Hello everyone!

Since the Summer is pretty much over I decided to talk about the food I ate the most during this season. When the temperature is high you really want to feel light during the day and to be full of energy. Here are some super easy to make breakfast ideas from me.


Ћао свима! С обзиром да је лето поприлично готово, одлучила сам да причам о храни коју сам највише јела током овог годишњег доба. Када је температура висока, заиста желите да се осећате лагано током дана и да будете пуни енергије. Ево пар једноставних идеја за доручак од мене.

1. Melon & cherries with Greek yogurt

For the first breakfast idea you’re going to need melon, Greek yogurt and cherries. You can buy already made Greek yogurt with cherries but since I had some frozen cherries in my freezer, I decided to buy regular Greek yogurt and mix it myself. Step number 2 is to cut the melon in half, remove the seeds and put instead the mixture. Make your daily dose of caffeine and that’s it!


За прву идеју  за доручак ће вам требати диња, грчки јогурт и вишње. Можете купити већ направљен грчки јогурт са вишњама али с обзиром да сам имала замрзнутих у замрзивачу, одлучила сам се за обични Грчки јогурт те помешати сама. Други корак је располовити дињу на два дела, очистити од семенки и уместо њих додати мешавину. Направите своју дневну дозу кофеина и то је то!

2. Melon & peach

If you’re vegan or lactose intolerant, this one’s for you. There’s nothing better for breakfast than fresh fruit and my favorite Summer combination is melon and peach. Cut the melon into slices, as well as the peach and serve it on plate. Instead of coffee, you can make lemonade part of your breakfast.


Ако сте веган или нетолерантни на лактозу, ово је за вас. Ништа није боље од свежег воћа за доручак и моја омиљена комбинација током лета је диња  и бресква. Исеците дињу на кришке, као и брескву и сервирајте на тањир. Уместо кафе лимунада може бити део вашег доручка.  

3. Oatmeal with peach

Last but not least, oatmeal with honey and peach. Prep the oats the way you like them. Cut the peach into slices and make some room for them in your bowl. Pour 1 tablespoon of honey over oatmeal and enjoy! The sweetest combination!

If this left you hungry, drink your favorite fruit yogurt and you’ll be full until the lunch!


Последња, али не мање важнија, овсена каша са медом и бресквом. Припремити овсене пахуљице онако како их иначе припремате. Исеците брескву на кришке и направите мало простора за њу у чинији. Прелијте овсену кашу са кашичицом меда и уживајте! Најслађа комбинација.

Ако сте остали гладни, узмите омиљени воћни јогурт и бићете сити до ручка.

  2. Here in England, even summer is pretty cold! I usually always opt for crumpets and butter! Probably not the healthiest option but it fills me up right until lunch time which is perfect, otherwise I tend to snack all the way from breakfast until lunch!

  4. I like your ideas a lot. I don’t eat yoghurt though. Did you know that unlimited watermelon for breakfast is (almost) the healthiest breakfast that exists?

  7. Great delicious suggestions! I usually prefer a toast only with cheese and orange juice for breakfast along with some fruits when the days are really hot here in Greece!

  10. I am totally down with the oatmeal and peach. It does look delicious. I just couldn’t do the other two because of the melon. I seem to have an allergic reaction to melon.
